The latest trailer has burst on to the scene giving us more of a glimpse of what to expect from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and it's left itching to find out exactly who the real menace is, and if we're set to lose any of the characters that we've grown to love.
Having lost a lot of time both through his time spent in prison, the blip, and being trapped in the quantum realm, it's easy to understand why Scott Lang would be tempted by Kang's (Jonathan Majors) offer early in the trailer. Having, as Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) put it, the power to "rewrite existence and shatter timelines", Kang, who has been locked away in the Chronopolis, seems to be looking to rope Scott in as a way of, ultimately, increasing his own power in some way, and, or, potentially reestablishing the energy within the Heart of Forever.
With what looked like the Heart of Forever being placed within a generator, albeit a little drained, this trans-chronal tether that keeps Chronopolis linked to all timelines may be exactly what he needs Scott's assistance with, whilst holding Cassie (Kathryn Newton) to ransom until he receives what he desires.
Alongside Kang, we finally got more of a look at MODOK, who appears to be our friend from Ant-Man in 2015, Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) who was vacuumed up into the Quantum Realm. As he appears to be aiding Kang on his quest, this may also be the meet-cute for them, and the beginning of their villainous partnership.
Whatever this new adventure for Ant-Man holds, what we do know for sure is that this'll be one hell of a ride for all of us.
You can catch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in cinemas 17 February.
