Star Wars Celebration 2022 Highlights
Not only did the Obi-Wan Kenobi series kick-off this week, but so did Star Wars Celebration, a weekend event packed full of exclusive interviews, opportunities and sneak peeks into the the out-of-this-world Lucas universe.
With this in mind, we thought that we'd share some of the highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase and more with you all, getting us really hyped for everything that's coming to the franchise.
Andor Trailer Release
It's coming! Following the story of Cassian Andor five years prior to Star Wars: Rogue One the series titled simply as Andor will be split into 12 episodes moving us a full year forward in the story by the ed of the first season.
We don't know about you, but this teaser trailer really got us excited for what's to come this August.
The Mandalorian Series 3 is Coming Soon
Well, soon-ish, at least. Set to land on Disney+ February 2023, The Mandalorian season 3 will continue to follow Mando and Grogu, and will also feature the likes of Bo-Katan and Greef Karga. So far, we don't know much about what the series will entail other than this quote from Din Djarin; “I’m going to Mandalore so that I may be forgiven for my transgressions."
If February still feels too far away, we'd recommend spicing up your setup with help from both Mando and Grogu.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Announced for 2023
Described as being a show that "stars four kids, but... is not a kids show," this series will follow how these children as they go from being lost in space to finding their home. Set during the same time period as Ahsoka and The Mandalorianit'll be interesting to see how this series develops to fit into these stories.
Alongside the illusive four kids already mentioned, the series will also feature Jude Law in his first Star Wars role.
Jedi Survivor Game Lands in 2023
For fans Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order this was a pretty big announcement. A sequel to the aforementioned title, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor which is set to be released in 2023.
It may perhaps be slightly less of a surprise than other announcements as EA had already had some leaks, but this third-person action-adventure title is sure to make its mark on fans who enjoyed the first instalment.
Star Wars' Young Jedi Adventures heading to Disney Junior in 2023
Now, for a show which will feature kids and that is for kids, Young Jedi Adventures is a series which will follow a group of Younglings as they master the ways of the Force to become fearsome Jedi.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Set to Appear on Disney+ End of 2022
This brand-new 6-part animated series has been described by Dave Filoni as being about “two paths and two choices." As of yet, we're unsure exactly what the series will entail, however Filoni has stated that although there will be some happy tales within the series, including a look at an adorable baby Ahsoka (cries in cute) there will also be deeper and perhaps less cheery stories woven in too.
Star Wars: Visions Will Return in 2023
The beloved series is back, and now with even more artwork styles and takes. Instead of moving away from more of a Japanese anime-style for its artwork, this new season will also include episodes from studios Chile, the United Kingdom, France, South Africa, South Korea, India, Ireland, and Spain.
