PlayStation Showcase 2021: A Few Highlights

After months of excited anticipation, PlayStation has shared a colourful array of updates on new games and revamps of existing fan favourites that have left us all extremely hyped.
Hosted on 9 September, the showcase featured updated popular titles including Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, alongside new releases such as God of War: Ragnarok, sequel to the ever popular God of War released in 2018, among others.
Although we're naturally excited about them all, here are a few that we just can't wait for.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Though it's only due to sling its way onto shelves in 2023, the new trailer had us extremely excited for what's to come. Featuring Miles Morales and Peter Parker joining forces to face Venom, it's a game that'll pack a lot of punch.

Marvel's Wolverine

For fans of this rugged hero, the idea of a game entirely focused around Wolverine feels like the cherry on the cake, and Insomniac looks set to really make it one to remember.
We may have a while to wait yet as it's still in development, but we're very much on the edge of our seats.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

With a 26 October release date, this is a game we won't have to wait too long for (phew!). Packed full of the wit and action you'd expect from the rag-tag group of superheroes, including Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Drax the Destroyer, and the Star-Lord himself, Peter Quill, we couldn't be more excited to get playing this autumn.

With all this in mind, it seems like the next few years are going to be packed full of amazing titles for us to play. Which of these announcements are you most excited about?
