James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad

After endless teasers, The Suicide Squad has been trailer revealed and it’s full of action, madness and some brilliant punchlines.
The James Gunn-directed movie comes out in August and acts as a standalone sequel to the David Ayer 2016 Suicide Squad. One of the biggest differences between the two movies are the stars featured – Margot Robbie continues as Harley Quinn but without Will Smith and Jard Leto; the new additions and characters include Idris Elba as Bloodsport and Pete Davidson as Blackguard.
James Gunn announced the release of The Suicide Squad trailer via Twitter, writing:
“Our first trailer. Warning: gore & adult language & supervillains & adventure & heart. Can't wait to see it in a theater with all of you on August 6.”
It opens with a scene of some of the villains-turned heroes going on a rescue mission to save Harley Quinn, only to find out she has saved herself. From the first scene, the madness is there. Whilst the plot is left under wraps, it does tell us that Amanda Waller will be assigning the villains the task of saving the world.

It arrives at cinemas and HBO Max on 6 August, but personally we can’t wait to watch it on the big screen.
