After gracing screens of kids around the world in 1992, FOX's X-Men: The Animated Series became the catalyst for many an X-Men fan. Lasting for 5 great years and featuring characters such as Wolverine, Storm, Jubilee and Magneto, all clad in their vividly colourful threads, may we add, it quickly made its mark on audiences. And now Disney+ aims to bring it back!
Set to be released in 2023, the series will continue from where it left off in 1997 and retain all of the colourful suits and personalities that we enjoyed.
It has also been revealed that along with the series style remaining the same, so will some of the original series voice actors. So far the likes of Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Lenore Zann (Rogue), George Buza (The Beast), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Chris Potter (Gambit), Catherine Disher (Jean Grey) have been confirmed, with some voicing entirely new characters.
Personally, I can't wait to relive my youth through X-Men '97!
